Between a female warrior and a princess who awaits her Prince Charming, Martine Sitbon explores above all a wardrobe made up of trompe l'oeils. Jacquard prints mixed with knit creating kinetic impressions, or a heavy coat with large lapels reminiscent of armor. The same goes for the tulle t-shirts embroidered in wool yarn, or the sequined embroideries on elasticated tulle, suggestive of knitwear. Prints in Indian ink allow our imaginations to wander, while laser cuts lighten the heavy woolen fabrics and allow us to see a glimpse of skin under the romantic smocked dresses in chiffon.
