VideoElephant took over programming and distribution of the USA TODAY FAST Channel in January 2025 as an expansion of our long-standing relationship with Gannett Co., Inc. We manage scheduling, distribution and reporting, as well as monthly promotional initiatives to drive audiences and channel growth.
As Cathy Kononetz, Executive Director and General Manager of Video Monetization at Gannett said back in January, “We are looking forward to this collaboration with VideoElephant across our USA TODAY FAST Channel. We are confident their expertise will enable us to continue building audiences and drive engagement across the USA TODAY Network’s OTT channel with content that serves our communities.”
The USA TODAY Channel is available on multiple streaming platforms Samsung, Vizio, Amazon, Roku, Plex, Local Now, Xumo, and more.
Connecting America debuts on Monday, August 25th and continues weekdays from 7:00 - 9:00am ET with a two-hour "best of show" program weekend mornings on all USA TODAY free ad-supported streaming television FAST channels and Connecting America’s YouTube channel.
More About The Show
Connecting America is hosted by a trio of widely respected, award-winning journalists: Alisyn Camerota, Jim Rosenfield, and Dave Briggs. Alisyn Camerota was a longtime CNN anchor and Fox News host. She is also a best-selling author and co-creator of the popular “Sanity” podcast on YouTube, Spotify, and Substack that she hosts with Dave Briggs. Briggs also anchored at CNN and Fox News, and has covered business news, and a multitude of sports, including NASCAR and the Olympics for NBC.
The Emmy award-winning Rosenfield is known to millions of local news viewers, having served as a lead anchor/reporter for highly rated newscasts in New York City, Washington DC, Chicago, Houston, and most recently, WCAU in Philadelphia. Rosenfield is also host of a new podcast, “Life UNexpectancy,” which will launch later this summer.
Joining Dave, Alisyn and Jim are contributors including Dr. Jeff Gardere, known as "America's Psychologist", former Fox News Senior Foreign Affairs Correspondent Amy Kellogg, providing an international perspective from Milan, Italy, and veteran political analyst/national news commentator Jim McQueeny. USA Today's impressive roster of journalists, reporting on everything from Capitol Hill to Taylor Swift, will also frequently join the program.
Connecting America is the creation of the well-known media executive Dianne Doctor and produced by Jersey Side Media and Cross Country Media.
